UrgentCover Terms and Conditions

UrgentCover provides a platform that connects dental practices (Clients) with temporary dental professionals (Locums). We facilitate the posting of Job Postings, the searching for Locums, and the Booking process. UrgentCover is *not* an employment agency or business. We do not employ Locums.

3. Registration and User Accounts

3.1 To use the Service, both Clients and Locums must register and create a User Account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your account information up-to-date.

3.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.3 You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.

3.4 If you are registering as a Client you must be a genuine dental practice.

3.5 If you are registering as a Locum you must have valid qualifications and be legally entitled to work in United Kingdom.

4. Job Postings and Bookings

4.1 Clients may create Job Postings on the Platform, specifying the required role, dates, times, location, hourly rate, and other relevant details.

4.2 Locums may apply for Job Postings through the Platform.

4.3 A Booking is formed when a Client accepts a Locum's application and locum accepts. The Client and Locum are responsible for agreeing on the specific terms of the engagement (e.g., duties, breaks, etc.).

4.4 UrgentCover is not a party to the contract between the Client and the Locum. We are not responsible for the performance of either party.

5. Fees and Payment

5.1 Clients will pay a Service Fee to UrgentCover for each Booking made through the Platform. The amount of the Service Fee will be clearly displayed before a Booking is confirmed. 5.2 Locums' hourly rates are displayed on the platform to enable clients to search and filter using hourly rate.

6. Cancellations

6.4 Cancellations by Locums made more than [24] hours before the start of a Booking will [not incur a fee/be subject to review].

6.5 Cancellations by Locums made within [24] hours of the start of a Booking will [be subject to review/may result in suspension from the platform].

6.6 All Cancellations must be done via the platform.

7. Locum Vetting and Verification

7.1 UrgentCover makes efforts to display information of registered locum staff on its platform. [Describe your verification process. This may include checks of GDC registration, professional indemnity insurance, and other relevant documents."].

7.2 However, UrgentCover does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided by Locums. It is the Client's responsibility to conduct their own due diligence and satisfy themselves that a Locum is suitable for a particular Job Posting.

8.1 You agree to use the Service in a professional and lawful manner.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of UrgentCover or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

9.2 You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Platform without our express written permission.

10. Data Protection

UrgentCover processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which is available on the Platform. By using the Service, you consent to such processing and warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, UrgentCover excludes all liability for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, or consequential, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

11.2 The Client acknowledges that Airlocum does not supervise and/or control the actions of any Locum. Nothing in this Agreement shall in any way constitute any Locum as the employee or worker of Airlocum. Airlocum shall not be responsible for supervising, monitoring or directing the Locum whilst working on an Marketplace Engagement and that accordingly, only the Client is in a position to assess and insure against risks in respect of or during or arising out of the period for which the Locum is performing the Locum Services.

11.3 The Client acknowledges that there is no contract between Airlocum and a Locum relating to the Locum Services. Airlocum shall not be responsible for and shall have no involvement in any disputes between the Client and a Locum and shall not be responsible for the quality of the Locum Services provided by the Locum or their activities while at the Client's location(s).

11.4 Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

12. Termination

UrgentCover may terminate your User Account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.

13. Modifications to the Service

UrgentCover reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Service, or any part of it, at any time without notice.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [England and Wales / Scotland / Northern Ireland] and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [England and Wales / Scotland / Northern Ireland].
